Jensen's Martial Arts Academy will supply you with courteous, friendly and proficient instructors and assistant instructors in the teaching of the Martial Arts. The Sashes
Students of the Martial Arts Academy show their progress in the art by the color of the sash worn around their waist. Each color or stripe is a step toward the goal of Black Sash. Requirements for ech sash will be different. New test requirement sheets are passed out when a level is completed. Progression is based on the individual.

Demonstration Team
Members of the demonstration team will be selected by Senior Staff, based on these qualities, as well as their mental and physical preparedness in the martial arts. Demonstration team members are a part of the school that akes direct contact with the public.

Sparring
Sparring sessions are held periodically in class and are at the discretion of the instructor for white and yellow sash. it is mandatory that all students who spar must at any level have the proper equipment including: mouth piece, groin protector (if male), and bag gloves. It is beneficial for kids class to have shin protection.

Extra Help
Communication, teamwork and actionare essential for the benefits to be obtained. Private lessons are also available. For cost and scheduling of private lessons please see the program director or instructor.
